A building to the south of Brixton is illustrated within Plot 465 on the Brixton Tithe Map of 1839, recorded as a 'Cottage & Garden' within the Tithe Apportionment. The building is not present on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map (1880-1899) indicating that it had been demolished prior to this date.
