Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A curvilinear earthwork bank, circa 3.5 metres in width, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. No field boundaries are depicted in this exact location on the available historic mapping, but the bank is parallel to a field boundary approximately 60 metres to the south that is depicted on the Tithe map. The earthwork is tentatively interpreted as the relict remains of a removed field boundary, of probable medieval date, which appears to have passed out of use prior to the mid-19th century. Possible ditches on either side are indistinctly visible but were not clear enough to transcribe. It is visible as a pale cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 1989, and earthworks are likely to be slight.
