Plot 1256 is recorded as 'Quarry Plantation' within the Yealmpton Tithe Apportionment.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

A quarry is illustrated within the south-west corner of Little Quarry Plantation.

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

The quarry is illustrated and labelled as an 'Old Quarry.'

Plot 1256 on the Yealmpton Tithe Map of 1843 is recorded as 'Quarry Plantation' within the Tithe Apportionment, although nothing is illustrated within this plot. A quarry is, however, illustrated within the south-west corner of the plot, now labelled as Little Quarry Plantation, on both the First and Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps. The outline of the quarry is still present on the Ordnance Survey Master Map.
