Plot 490 is recorded as 'Quarry Park' within the Newton Ferrers Tithe Apportionment.

Plot 490 on the Newton Ferrers Tithe Map of 1839 is recorded as 'Quarry Park' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name is likely to indicate the presence of a quarry within the vicinity, although no features are illustrated within this plot on either the Tithe Map, or the First or Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps.
