Plot 558 on the Newton Ferrers Tithe Map of 1839 is recorded as 'Well Park' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name indicates the presence of a well within the vicinity, although no features are shown within this plot on either the Tithe Map, or later First or Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps.
