Summary
The site of a quay and lime kiln are depicted within Plot 732 on the 1839 Newton Ferrers tithe map and recorded as 'Quay Cellar and Lime Kiln' on the accompanying apportionment. The kiln is visible as a semi-circular structure and is adjacent to a small building, both of which are located on the quay. By the time of the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s the kiln is no longer visible, although the adjacent building remains extant. This remaining building is no longer visible by the time of the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06.

The site of a quay and lime kiln are depicted within Plot 732 on the 1839 Newton Ferrers tithe map.

By the time of the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s the kiln is no longer visible, although the adjacent building remains extant.
