Summary

Two 'Slips' are illustrated and labelled on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s where they project into Newton Creek from the east bank in Noss Mayo. By the time of the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06, only the southerly slip remains visible, but is now labelled as 'Quay'. The structure is also shown on the Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap and is labelled as 'Popes Quay'.

Two 'Slips' are illustrated and labelled on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s where they project into Newton Creek from the east bank in Noss Mayo.

By the time of the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06, only the southerly slip remains visible, but is now labelled as 'Quay'.
