Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A curvilinear ditch, up to circa 7 metres in width, is visible as a dark cropmark or soilmark on aerial photographs taken in 1947 and 1950. It is tentatively interpreted as a removed field boundary; in 1947 the area along the feature seems to be bare ground, perhaps suggesting the very recent removal of a feature here, and the north-west part is unclear. No field boundaries are depicted in this location on the available historic mapping, and it is possible that this was an early-20th century feature rather than a post-medieval one.
