A sub-rectangular feature with hachures shown on its eastern and southern sides is first illustrated against the eastern boundary of a field to the north-east of Beatlands on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. The feature is also present on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map and may represent the remains of a quarry or pond. The feature is not present on the Ordnance Survey Master Map where the area is shown to have been developed for housing.
