Vis=10/11/1953(os) the site of this chapel is now covered by a concrete yard. The date of licence was not ascertained but the destruction would appear to be in the 19th century. Os 1887-88 describe it as 'chapel - remains of. ' holcombe barton is a modern house, and the former one was of no importance. The chapel may have been a chapel of ease to ottery st mary church.

Respondent to dean milles questionnaire noted a private chapel at holcombe in the mid 18th century (dean milles).
