Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A curvilinear ditch, circa 5 metres in width, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 1950 and as a broad shallow earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. No field boundaries are depicted in this exact location on the available historic mapping, but the ditch is similar in morphology to other earthworks in the area that correspond to removed field boundaries depicted on the late-19th century map. The earthwork fits into the field pattern in this area, and is interpreted as the relict remains of a former medieval field boundary, which appears to have passed out of use prior to the mid-19th century. It is not clearly visible on other available aerial photographs, and earthworks are likely to be slight.
