Summary

On the 1841 Ermington tithe map, two parallel rectangular structures, one significantly larger than the other, are illustrated in the northern end of Plot 1583 and recorded as 'Barn and Waste' on the accompanying tithe apportionment. The barn appears to have been demolished by the time of the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s.

On the 1841 Ermington tithe map, two parallel rectangular structures, one significantly larger than the other, are illustrated in the northern end of Plot 1583 and recorded as 'Barn and Waste' on the accompanying tithe apportionment. A field to the northwest is called 'Barn Park' (1581) and to the east 'Yonder Barn Park' (Plot 1587) and 'Little Barn Park' (1588).

The barn appears to have been demolished by the time of the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s.

On the 1841 Ermington tithe map, two parallel rectangular structures, one significantly larger than the other, are illustrated in the northern end of Plot 1583 and recorded as 'Barn and Waste' on the accompanying tithe apportionment. A field to the northwest is called 'Barn Park' (1581) and to the east 'Yonder Barn Park' (Plot 1587) and 'Little Barn Park' (1588). No structures are illustrated in these fields and given their close proximity it is likely they reference this barn. The barn appears to have been demolished by the time of the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s.

There is still a notable extension to the field in the corner where the barn(s) once stood, which the trackway narrows to pass around.
