A lodge is first illustrated and labelled to the south-west of Knowle on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. The lodge is also labelled and illustrated on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, but is not present on the Ordnance Survey Master Map indicating that it had been demolished prior to 2015 and replaced by a housing development.
