Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Four curvilinear ditches, circa 4 metres in width, are visible as dark cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1989 and as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. One corresponds to a field boundary depicted in this exact location on the available historic mapping, and two appear to be contiguous with field boundaries immediately to the north that are depicted on historic mapping, although one has been removed since. They are interpreted as the relict remains of former medieval or post-medieval field boundaries, three of which appear to have passed out of use prior to the mid-19th century. Only those that are not depicted on the historic mapping have been transcribed.
