A possible earthwork pit is visible.

The possible remains of a quarry pit, circa 30 metres in diameter, is visible as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. No features are depicted in this location on the historic mapping and the earthwork may have been a medieval or post-medieval quarry that fell out of use by the late 19th century. However it is only visible on the lidar images and interpretation is cautious.
