Plot 1404 is recorded as 'Wall Field' within the Otterton Tithe Apportionment.

Field called Wall Field on Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment (Tithe Apportionment No. 1404). Possible former structure although lane to west now called Wallclose Lane suggesting boundary wall.
Otterton Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment 1844/1843.

Plot 1404 on the Otterton Tithe Map of 1844 is recorded as 'Wall Field' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name may indicate the presence of a wall or ruin within the field, or may simply refer to the field boundaries.
