Ponds are illustrated within plots 638, 639, and 640 to the south of the buildings. A number of the plots to the east and south of the ponds are illustrated as orchards.

A group of buildings are illustrated within plot 631 on the East Budleigh Tithe Map of 1843, which is recorded as 'Barns and Courtlage' within the accompanying Tithe Apportionment. The buildings are situated on the southern side of the road, immediately to the south-east of Tidwell Barton. Ponds are also recorded within plots 638, 639, and 640 to the south. A number of the plots to the east and south of the ponds are recorded and illustrated as orchards. None of the buildings to the south of the road are present on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, and the plot has been incorporated into the orchards to the east and west. The ponds are no longer shown, although a 'Mill Pond' is labelled to the south-east. The site is shown as an orchard on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey Map, and the Ordnance Survey Master Map shows the area to have remained undeveloped.
