A group of buildings set around a courtyard are illustrated within plot 1097 on the East Budleigh Tithe Map of 1843, and are recorded as 'House, Buildings &c' within the Tithe Apportionment. No buildings are present on the later First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map indicating that the buildings had been demolished prior to 1899.
