Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
'Water' shown on 19th century Tithe Map as an extensive group of buildings with many small enclosures. The Apportionment for 'Water' lists Field Number 766 as 'House Garden Court' and Field Number 772 as 'Houses Waste Road'. Field Numbers 761,764 and 774 are listed as 'Garden'.

'Water' shown on 19th century map as an extensive group of buildings around several yards with several small enclosures. A 'Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan)' is shown on the south-west side of the settlement.
