The field name indicates the presence of a linhay and is likely to relate to a rectangular building depicted against the southern boundary of the plot. Buildings are shown in this location on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, but are not present on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map indicating that they had been demolished prior to 1906.
