Plot 72 on the West Teignmouth Tithe Map of 1840 is recorded as a 'Linhay' within the Tithe Apportionment, and a building is illustrated in this location on the Tithe Map. The building is not present on the later First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map indicating that it had been demolished prior to 1899.
