An earthwork bank of probable post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, on Connigar Hill. The broadly northwest to southeast aligned, slightly sinuous, earthwork is located along the northern edge of an area of fairly extensive quarrying and may form part of an associated feature, perhaps as up-cast material. It is also possible the earthwork forms part of a relict field boundary, which passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The earthwork bank remains visible on aerial photographs of 1966, although has been completely levelled and possibly destroyed as part of construction of the A361 by 1984.
