Summary

A number of sluices are illustrated and labelled on both the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s and the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06. They are located on a tributary of the River Erme along the southern edge of the water meadow near Pamflete House. They remain extant on the Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap.

A number of sluices are illustrated and labelled on both the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s and the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06. They are located on a tributary of the River Erme near Pamflete House and may have been associated with a catch meadow system recorded to the immediate north. The sluices remain extant on the Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap.
