A possible enclosure of later prehistoric date was visible on aerial photographs of 1996 as cropmarks west of Coblands Cross, Chitterley. The cropmarks are up to 1 metre in width and define an incompletely visible roughly circular or sub-square double ditched enclosure approximately 22 metres in diameter. The enclosure might have been associated with the cropmark field boundaries immediately to the west.
