L-shaped range of buildings in a small rectangular enclosure shown to south-west of Bigbury Court.

Waterhouse, R., 2003, Farm Buildings at Bigbury: An Archaeological Appraisal (Report - non-specific). SDV355476.

In their current form, the buildings are entirely agricultural and form an L plan fronting a walled yard. Their appearance is that of a late 18th to early 19th century field barn and shippon, of a type common to the South Hams. The farm buildings show clear signs of having been a small agricultural group, possibly originating as a tenant farm, but later reduced to an ancillary structure. The presence of a planned double linhay is of special interest, as such structures are rare in the district. This, and the survival of a number of important detail features, make the buildings worthy of preservation. See report for full details.
