In Thurlestone Sands on the 1842 South Huish tithe map and accompanying apportionment a building is depicted within Plot 124 and recorded as 'Newhay'.

In Thurlestone Sands on the 1842 South Huish tithe map and accompanying apportionment a building is depicted within Plot 124 and recorded as 'Newhay'.


Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

On the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s, a building of similar shape and extent is recorded as 'Thurlestone Cottage'.

The Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap shows a much larger structure indicating the original building has been either demolished or incorporated into the new development.
