A group of rectangular buildings arranged around a central courtyard are depicted within Plot 321 on the 1842 Thurlestone tithe map and recorded as 'cottages so not charged with tithes' on the accompanying apportionment. The fields to the east and west are also recorded as 'Western Barn Park' (Plot 316) and 'Eastern Barn Park' (Plot 315). The buildings and courtyard are shown on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06, although only the outline of the courtyard is still shown on the Ordnance Survey 2015 MasterMap.

A group of rectangular buildings arranged around a central courtyard are depicted within Plot 321 on the 1842 Thurlestone tithe map and recorded as 'cottages so not charged with tithes' on the accompanying apportionment. The fields to the east and west are also recorded as 'Western Barn Park' (Plot 316) and 'Eastern Barn Park' (Plot 315).
