Plot 148 is recorded as 'Cross Park,' plot 143 is recorded as 'Pits Cross Parks,' plot 141 is 'Long Cross Park,' and plot 144 is recorded as 'Little Cross Park' within the Ashprington Tithe Apportionment.

Plot 148 on the Ashrpington Tithe Map of 1843 is recorded as 'Cross Park,' plot 143 is recorded as 'Pits Cross Parks,' plot 141 is 'Long Cross Park,' and plot 144 is recorded as 'Little Cross Park' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field names may indicate the presence of cross within the vicinity.
