Plot 40 is recorded as 'Houses and Garden' within the Shaldon St Nicholas Tithe Apportionment.

Two buildings are depicted within plot 40 on the Shaldon St Nicholas Tithe Map of 1843, recorded as 'Houses and Garden' within the Tithe Apportionment. The buildings are not depicted on the later First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map indicating that they had been demolished prior to 1899. The land is depicted as an orchard on the First and Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps, but has been developed for housing by the Ordnance Survey Master Map of 2015.
