Two greensand chert picks. Found on a heap of flints gathered off the land north of the road on the summit of salcombe hill, sidmouth by henry ede in april, 1897 (roberts).


Silvester, R. J., 1977, Earthwork (Worksheet). SDV8568.

Vis=22/11/1977(silvester) flints found on salcombe hill, including a large scraper found in a reseeded field. Footpath runs along cliff edge, flints were found to the north of this. Cliff edge is also gradually eroding (silvester).
