Plot 1862 on the Woodbury Tithe Map of 1842 is recorded as 'Ball' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name may indicate the presence of a boundary mound within the vicinity, although no features are depicted within this location on either the Tithe Map or later First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.
