Full description

Pengelly, W., 1886, Price's 'Worthies of Devon' and the 'Dictionary of National Biography', Part 2, 319 (Article in Serial). SDV131323.

St. Giles' parish church: monument to memory of Samuel blackall who died 8 May 1792 was placed outside the south transept, and adjacent to the southeastern buttress. A low square altar tomb covered with a slab of blue lias which has decayed so much that little is left of the letters.
