Plot 51 on the Brixham Tithe Map of 1838 is recorded as 'Well Park Brake' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name indicates the presence of a well within the vicinity, although no features are depicted within this plot on the Tithe Map or later First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.
