Plot 28 on the Churston Ferrers Tithe Map of 1839 is recorded as 'Well Park' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name indicates the presence of a well within the vicinity, although no feature are depicted within this location on the Tithe Map. A well is, however, labelled within woodland to the west of this field on the First and Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps.
