Plot 439 is recorded as 'Blindwell Field' and plot 438 is recorded as 'Blindwell Meadow' within the Dittisham Tithe Apportionment.

Plot 439 on the Dittisham Tithe Map of 1840 is recorded as 'Blindwell Field' and plot 438 is recorded as 'Blindwell Meadow' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field names may indicate the presence of a well within the vicinity, although no features are depicted on the Tithe Map or later First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.
