Full description
Pears, B. + de-Villiers, S. + Passmore, A., 2014, The Former Fremington Army Camp, Fremington, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation and Historic Building Survey, Building 13 (Report - non-specific). SDV357013.
Brick building. Gabled, corrugated asbestos roof. Metal windows with concrete lintels. Seven bays. Double wooden dorrs in the second from south bay in the north-east elevation. Two doors of door-and-a-half width in the south-east elevation. Several of the window openings are blocked up with concrete blocks, includding all in the south-west elevation. In the centre of the north-west elevation is a metal 'garage' door. A doorway in the south-west elevation bas been bricked up.
There is a single large open room currently used for storage. The roof is supported on metal frames with plasterboard.
