Full description
Pears, B. + de-Villiers, S. + Passmore, A., 2014, The Former Fremington Army Camp, Fremington, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation and Historic Building Survey, Building 37 (Report - non-specific). SDV357013.
Canteen building. Clay block units and brick. Gabled roof with corrugated asbestos sheeting. UPVC windows. Five bays. A single wooden door in north-east elevation. Double wooden doors in the south-west elevation.
No internal access; visual inspection through windows. A large L-shaped room at the south-west end with a corridor to the north-east end with rooms off it. The rooms on the south-east side contain catering equipment and storage. Plasterboard ceilings.
