Plot 1462 on the Brixham Tithe Map of 1838 is recorded as 'Lime Kiln included in Common Measure' within the Tithe Apportionment.

Plot 1462 on the Brixham Tithe Map of 1838 is recorded as 'Lime Kiln included in Common Measure' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name indicates the presence of a lime kiln within the vicinity, and may relate to a semi-circular feature depicted near the western boundary of the plot on the Tithe Map. The feature is not present on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.
