Full description
Pears, B. + de-Villiers, S. + Passmore, A., 2014, The Former Fremington Army Camp, Fremington, Devon: Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation and Historic Building Survey, Building 79 (Report - non-specific). SDV357013.
Concrete rendered building with gabled, corrugated asbestos sheet roof. Metal windows. 18 bays. There is a boarded-up porch with a sloping corrugated asbestos sheet roof in the centre of the south-east elevation. There is a single wooden door in the south-west elevation in the 10th from north bay. There is a porch with a glass and wooden door and a sloping corrugated asbestos sheet roof in the centre of the north-west elevation.
No internal access; visual inspection through windows. It consists of three large interconnected rooms. The roof is supported on metal frames with plasterboard.
