Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Small group of buildings shown on 19th century Tithe Map on the southern side of the road. The Apportionment for 'Lower Hill' lists Field Number 1039 as 'House Garden and Courtlage'. A separately listed House and Garden is shown under plot number 1528 just to the north-west and another across the road (1532).

By the time of the later 19th century historic map depiction, the farm appears to have contracted in size; only one building remains.
