School house. Vis=estimated -/-/1821(lysons, d. + s. ) in the reign of henry viii lands at hampton in shute parish were given to pay $5 per annum to a schoolmaster. The date on the schoolhouse is 1612. Vis=5/5/1955(os) the schoolhouse is probably 17th century, whilst the school is 16th.
