The possible extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

A possible extraction pit of uncertain date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 2000, on Bicton Common. The sub-rectangular earthwork measures approximately 47m in length by 37m in width and was not clearly visible on other aerial photographs made available to this survey.
