An orchard is depicted here on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s.

The orchard banks are visible as a series of earthwork banks.

Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1946, at Woodbury. An orchard is depicted here on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s, although by 1946 the orchard trees have been partly grubbed up, leaving a series of parallel northeast to southwest aligned earthwork banks, on which the fruit trees were established, visible. These banks occupy a small irregular shaped plot of approximately 0.22 hectares of fairly gentle west facing slope. The orchard banks have been completely levelled and likely completely destroyed by 1989 following residential development of the site.
