Full description
Reed, S., 1997, Blackdown Hills Ironworking Project, Archaeological Recording of an Iron Ore Extraction Pit, Broadhembury, 4 (Report - non-specific). SDV355163.
A linear extended 4m into the excavation. The profile was a rounded U-shape. It was 2.5m deep and its fill consisted of stoneless redeposited natural clays.
