Field called Ropers Die Field on Tithe Map/Apportionment (Tithe Apportionment Number. 523). Lies within isolated cultivated field on the heath. This is a curious single pasture field within the heathland, adjacent to East Devon Way. The significance of the name is unknown. Could include in general interpretation regarding former land use/enclosure.
