A former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as a cropmark bank on aerial photographs of 1996, off Watery Lane, Woodbury. The fairly diffuse former boundary is northeast to southwest aligned and measures approximately 12m in width. It closely respects the historic field patterns and may have formed part of a medieval boundary which passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. A second parallel cropmark of a former field boundary was also visible to the south, along with other former cropmark field boundaries which are depicted on historic maps and so were not recorded as part of this survey. The cropmark was not clearly visible on other aerial photographs made available to the survey.
