Earthwork banks of probable 18th-19th century date are visible on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, at Woodbury House. The earthworks occupy a number of adjacent arable plots depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s, along the eastern edge of Woodbury Wood. The narrow ridge and furrow cultivation banks are northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned and occupy an area of approximately 6.3 hectares of moderate west facing slope. The earthwork banks are partly visible on aerial photographs up until 1965, although are no longer visible by 1988 and with much of the area been given over to woodland, their survival is uncertain.
