Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A possible former field boundary bank was visible as an earthwork on the south-facing slopes to the north of Ashclyst Farm on aerial photographs of 1946. Although not depicted the bank fell within the field pattern shown on the Tithe Map for Broad Clyst, and was therefore possibly of medieval origin. The bank was visible as a slight hollow on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2010 and might therefore survive as a subtle earthwork ditch.
