Summary

Earthwork banks of probable 18th-19th century date are visible on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards to the southwest of Cannonwalls Farm. They are visible as banked features on aerial photographs up until 1963, although their survival after this date is unclear and may have been completely levelled.

Earthwork banks of probable 18th-19th century date are visible on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards to the southwest of Cannonwalls Farm. The narrow ridge and furrow cultivation banks occupy an area of approximately 2.77 hectares, within three adjacent plots of gentle northwest facing slope. The earthworks are northwest to southeast aligned and are visible as banked features on aerial photographs up until 1963, although their survival after this date is unclear and may have been completely levelled.
