'B.S.' for boundary stone is depicted on the late 19th century historic map.

Between North Hessery Tor and Great Mis Tor are nine granite boundary posts running in a straight line.

From Rundlestone Cottages to Great Mis Tor a line of six roughly shaped pillars, all unlettered, mark the boundary between the Forest and Walkhampton parish.

(12/07/1994) Boundary stone 20m south-east of the north-west corner of the prison newtake, at NGR SX 5665 7624. The stone is a tapering block of moorstone measuring 1.4m high, 0.25m wide, 0.25m thick at the base and 0.1m thick at the top. It has no inscription and leans to the west. The stone marks the Dartmoor Forest boundary.
